Google released the guidelines in full in a 160-page PDF entiteled: Search Quality Evaluator Guidelines.
These guidelines don’t give you a plan to to work the rankings, but they do provide a huge amount of information about what Google is looking for and what makes a google friendly page. Expertise is key. It’s no secret that Google has always loved high-quality content, as the web evolves it’s clear that the content needs to be written by authoritative and trustworthy experts.
So the new algorithm updates have been designed to reward high-quality pages that feature clear, concise, professional writing and to down-rank pages that feature duplicated, content, “taken (“scraped”) from other, more reputable sites on the assumption that increasing the volume of pages on their site is a good long-term strategy regardless of the relevance or uniqueness of that content.” according to googles documentation, and this is *a good thing*.
